About Us
The Williamsburg Historical Society is dedicated to preserving and sharing the rich history of our community. We provide genealogical resources, access to historical newspapers, guided tours of notable sites, and information on current events in Williamsburg. The Society also assists Williamsburg graduates and families in planning reunions. Visitors can tour five historic properties and make use of our extensive research collection, which includes more than 32,000 local obituaries, thousands of newspaper archives, and over 4,000 historical photographs that highlight the heritage of our town.
